FanDuel Acquires BeyondPlay

Sportsbook and fantasy sports company, FanDuel is once again expanding its shares of the US iGaming Market. As FanDuel Acquires BeyondPlay, it gets them closer to becoming the largest provider of online casinos in the U.S. The announcement was made yesterday by FanDuel and BeyondPlay. However, the amount paid for the acquisition was not made available to the public.

According to the terms of the purchase agreement BeyondPlay will become part of FanDuel Casino. This is FanDuel’s iGaming division where they will focus on product development and innovation.

FanDuel is a known brand in the US market and has the largest number of shares in the US sports betting market. On the other hand, is not as well known. This is because BeyondPlay is somewhat of a start-up company that came on the iGaming scene in 2021.

Under the leadership of their founder and CEO, Karolina Pelc, they have seen an amazing growth rate. In addition, they have an impressive list of clients as well as investors.

FanDuel Acquires BeyondPlay to Boost Player Engagement

FanDuel Acquires BeyondPlay to Boost Player EngagementAdding a live casino to a sportsbook is a smart decision for any sports betting operation. This is because it will boost revenue and diversify their client base. However, the for normal casino games, the player engagement is not as evident. Therefore, the acquisition of BeyondPlay is a smart move from FanDuel. This is because BeyondPlay features a multiplayer engagement platform and jackpot management system with customizable jackpot options. As such, it will give FanDuel a boost to its player engagement.

Asaf Nofield, the managing director of FanDuel Casino, said that “this acquisition further strengthens FanDuel Casino’s leading customer experience.” In addition, he said that their strategy is about investing to win. Thus, the continuous improvement their iGaming proposition for their customers is a “key part of that.”

In a social media post about the acquisition of BeyondPlay by Fanduel, Pel said she is happy about the acquisition. This is because it “validates the hard work and dedication” of their team and the vision behind their product.

While FanDuel currently holds the second spot in the U.S. iGaming market below BetMGM, Draftkings is close their heel. Just recently, DraftKings bought Jackpocket Inc., the leading lottery app in the Us for $750 million.
