However, Matt Primeaux, President of Hard Rock Bet said that app had actually gone lie 2 days earlier.

Being able to have an early launch for their online sports betting app was very advantageous to the Seminole Tribe. However, the main advantage to them was that they got to start making money earlier. In addition, it made great advertisement for the launch if their in-person retail locations in Florida.

However, thanks to the compact with Florida, the Seminole Tribe have a monopoly on sports betting in the state. Therefore, they will have to give the tribe part of their revenue as part of their “hub and spoke” system.
