Gambling Software Update – NetEnt Receives License in Pennsylvania
Ever since the Pennsylvania legislature made online casino legal, the state has been expanding its roster of gambling software provider. Along with sports betting software companies, the latest company to join this small group of providers is NetEnt. This is because according to their press release, NetEnt Receives License in Pennsylvania.
The license given to NetEnt by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) is an Interactive Gaming Manufacturer Conditional License. Thus, NetEnt will be able to provide its casino games to online casinos that operate in Pennsylvania. Even though online casino gambling is not yet live in Pennsylvania, they have already have several agreements with online casinos.
The conditional license has been officially given to the NetEnt subsidiary, NetEnt Americas LLC. NetEnt LLC managing director said that they are happy to be part of the first round of approvals. Furthermore, he also said that “this fits well with our strategy to be live with our products at the first day of market opening”.

NetEnt is a leading provider of gambling solutions for the casino industry in Sweden. In addition, they operate in several gambling markets which include the U.S., UK, Sweden, Malta, Ukaine, Gibraltar and Poland. They have been in business for over 20 years and their games are in several successful online casinos.
According to Gambling News providers, this is not the first time NetEnt has been given a provisional license in a state with legal gambling. This is because last month, they also received a license in New Jersey.
Receiving the license in Pennsylvania is a huge for them since Pennsylvania is the second largest state to regulate online casinos.
