Of course, this was not a big surprise to many in the gambling software industry.  This is because online sportsbooks and casino operators have been seeing a sharp increase in online gambling.

Furthermore, sports betting operators saw a $6.97 increase in online sports betting revenue.  According to betting industry experts, this is because of a rise in baseball, golf and soccer betting over the summer. Thus, industry insiders had a good idea about these numbers.

These figures come from a recent data release for the Mid-August numbers from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

Breaking Down the NJ Online Gambling Revenues

The online casino that did the best in New Jersey is the Golden Nugget and its affiliate group of operators. In addition, they have a huge lead in terms of revenue over their competitors and it keeps getting bigger.

According to the report, July was another record breaking month with $14.89 million in total online casino revenue. In fact, so far this year they have made over $93.5 million in total revenue.

In second place is Resort Digital Gaming which is takes care of several popular gambling brands. Some of these brands include DraftKings, Resorts Casino and FoxBet (BetStars).  Furthermore, the NJ gaming report says that Resort Digital Gaming made $6.24 million in online casino revenue for July.  Thus, according to bookie services they now have a total of $43.5 million for the year.

In third place we have Borgata Online Casino who made $5.92 million in revenue for the month of July.

As whole, the NJ online gambling market is doing excellent and NJ officials are looking forward to the football season.
